Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Reelpin ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Reelpin mobile application and the public profile pages we host at www.reelpin.app.

Reelpin lets creators organise Instagram Reels into shareable playlists and a personal link-in-bio page. By using the app you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

We collect the minimum needed to provide the service:

• Account information — the email address you sign in with (via Google or email/password through Firebase Authentication) and a display name, username, and optional bio you provide.
• Profile content — playlists you create, links to Instagram Reels and other URLs you add, social links, and any image you upload (avatar, playlist covers, reel thumbnails, custom logos, page background images).
• Theme and preferences — the customisation choices you make for your public page (colours, fonts, layout, density, shapes).
• Subscription state — if you subscribe to Reelpin Pro, we receive purchase events (tier, status, expiry, store of origin) from Apple App Store / Google Play via RevenueCat. We do not receive your payment card or bank details — those stay with the store.
• Technical diagnostics — Firebase services log basic request metadata (timestamps, IP address, device platform) for reliability and abuse prevention.

2. How we use information

• To create and operate your account and your public profile page.
• To display the content you choose to publish at www.reelpin.app/<your-handle>.
• To process subscription entitlements for Reelpin Pro.
• To keep the service reliable, detect abuse, and respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising in the app or on profile pages.

3. What is public vs. private

Anything you place on your profile page — display name, bio, links, playlists you mark Public, avatar and theme — is publicly visible to anyone who has your profile URL. Playlists you mark Private remain visible only to you when you are signed in.

4. Service providers

We rely on the following sub-processors:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Hosting) — stores your account and profile content. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Apple App Store and Google Play — handle payments for Reelpin Pro subscriptions.
• RevenueCat — mirrors subscription state from the stores into our backend. See revenuecat.com/privacy.

5. Data retention

Account and profile data is kept until you delete your account. When you delete your account, all your playlists, links, theme, and uploaded images are removed within 30 days. Aggregated, non-personal diagnostic logs may be retained for up to 12 months for fraud prevention and analytics.

6. Your rights

• Access — you can view all your data inside the app.
• Correction — edit any profile field at any time.
• Deletion — request full account and data deletion at www.reelpin.app/delete-account (no sign-in required).
• Portability — on request we will export your profile content in a machine-readable format.

7. Children

Reelpin is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in Google Cloud regions. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel. No online service is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password for your Reelpin account.

9. International transfers

Reelpin operates from India. Your data may be stored on Google Cloud infrastructure in regions outside your country. By using the service you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be surfaced in-app before they take effect.
